    Saying Goodbye to the Seniors

    Senior Night was bittersweet for the Lady Titans basketball team. Although they defeated W.T. Woodson in a convincing victory, 46-31, this was the last time the seniors would play a regular-season game at home for the home crowd before post-season play begins.     Counselors Receive RAMP Recognition

    Alexandria City High School counselors have been awarded the RAMP (Recognized ASCA Model Program) award for their excellent counseling. This is the first year our school has submitted an application and we succeeded on our first try. The award was commemorated by a ceremony in the cafeteria with the drumline, cheerleaders, a red carpet, and a crowd of people.

    After a rocky start at the beginning of the year, the wifi had been working smoothly for the last couple of months. However, in the past few weeks, students and teachers have been experiencing slower wifi and more connectivity issues.

    Spring Sports Sprint Into Action

    As winter sports come to an end, there are eight sports firing up as the weather gets warmer. Baseball, crew, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, softball, tennis, and track are beginning their seasons this week. Tryouts started February 21 and continue through the 25. Each sport has varying times and dates for tryouts occurring this week.
