Us is directed by famous comedian and horror enthusiast, Jordan Peele. Peele’s first box office hit, Get Out, is a chilling thriller interwoven with commentary on modern racial tensions. Get Out received rave reviews from audience members and even won Peele Best Original Screenplay at the 2018 Oscars. Unlike Get Out, Us is much more centered on terrifying horror.

How the Outcasts became All-Stars
“Our main priority [is] to have fun and be able to do what we love to do as musicians -- to make people happy and enjoy our music and our craft,” said Jared Molina, drummer for the student-run brass band, The Outcasts. T.C. has nearly 4,000 students: athletes, academics, and of course, musicians. Whether it be original songs or brass covers, The Outcasts are an example of the musical talent at T.C.

Review: Ariana Grande’s thank u, next
Ariana Grande released her newest album, thank u, next, only five months after her last album, Sweetener (check out Theogony’s review on it online under “Summer Music in Review”). Thank u, next follows Grande after her heart is broken, which was taken as inspiration from Grande’s real love life after breaking up with former fiance Pete Davidson. It is the counterbalance we need to the blindly-in-love Sweetener, by bringing the songs back to a more melancholic reality on relationships.
