Tune in to ACPS-TV, Channel 71 next week to see the first three episodes of a new television show, Behind the Headlines, that focuses on current events in Alexandria.
On Behind the Headlines T.C. Williams students Bridgette Adu-Wadier and Caeley Sacher moderate a panel discussion with Alexandria journalists on important issues including the high school capacity shortage, the changing local political landscape and the impact of Amazon on Alexandria and surrounding communities.
The panel consists of veteran reporters Michael Lee Pope of Virginia Public Radio, Dan Brendel of The Alexandria Gazette Packet and Alexa Epitropolous of The Alexandria Times.
Behind the Headlines is produced and directed by members of Theogony, the T.C. Williams student-managed media organization, and the T.C. Williams Television Production classes. Episodes of Behind the Headlines will air on Channel 71 at 7:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday beginning Monday, January 14.
