United Way is seeking ACPS staff to volunteer to pack meals on Friday.
United Way Worldwide is sponsoring meal packing event at their headquarters at 701 N. Fairfax St, Alexandria on Friday afternoon from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. The meals will be packed and then provided to a local non-profit to feed those in need of meals.
They need all the volunteers they can get to help pack the meals. If you would like to volunteer, check with your immediate supervisor to make sure your absence not impact the workings of your department and arrange your volunteer hours through them.
