Congratulations to the student staff of T.C Williams High School’s Theogony magazine! Theogony has received two awards of recognition for outstanding student achievement in print and online journalism.
Theogony received a First Class with One Mark of Distinction from the National Scholastic Press Association for its online edition. It also won a First Place award for outstanding achievement in quality publications from the Virginia High School League.
“We are pleased that the work of our talented students is being recognized,” said Mark Eaton, Co-Chair of the English Department at T.C. Williams.
The T.C. Williams High School student-managed media organization, has published continuously since 1965. Theogony is a product of the Journalism II-N class, taught by Eaton. It publishes 10 to 12 print issues every school year in addition to the online version.
