A group of 20 teachers and administrators from Charles Barrett Elementary School and John Adams Elementary School will receive Certificates of Study for their participation in the Kennedy Center’s Changing Education Through the Arts (CETA) program in an official ceremony in Washington, D.C.
The Certificate of Study recognizes educators who have continued their professional learning in the arts and have learned about ways to integrate the arts into their teaching.
CETA is a program that works with seven schools in the area, including John Adams and Charles Barrett, to affect long-term change in school culture through professional learning in arts integration. It offers in-depth programs for partner schools that have committed to a school-wide focus on arts integration.
