Do you want to play a critical role in developing curriculum? The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is seeking teachers and specialists interested in writing curriculum during the summer of 2018.
Curriculum writing projects will involve collaborating with other teachers and will be focused on developing ACPS curriculum materials in Canvas. Curriculum products will include:
- Lesson planning resources
- Performance assessments
- Formative assessments
- Other resources as identified in each content area
Teachers will be paid a stipend of $180 per day for successful completion of assigned curriculum products upon review by curriculum and instruction specialists.
Interested teachers and specialists should complete the online application by May 15, 2018. Teachers selected for curriculum writing will be notified by June 1.
