The Students with Disabilities (SWD) Draft Action Plan that is the result of the recent evaluation of SWD services is now available and we’d like to hear your comments on the plan.
Starting today through November 20, you can provide comments online.
We will also be hosting two sessions for staff to share comments on Tuesday, November 13 and Wednesday, November 14 at 3:45 p.m. Both sessions will be held at Central Office in 310-3A and are expected to last one hour. ACPS will also hold separate forums for the public.

The final action plan is expected to be presented to the Board at the December 20 meeting.
The evaluation of services to students with disabilities was conducted to provide a comprehensive review of the current state of programs and services for students with disabilities and their families and to inform the division and relevant stakeholders in areas of strengths and opportunities for improvement. Key stakeholder groups have been represented throughout the process ranging from the development of the guiding research questions and the Request for Proposals (RFP) process to the ongoing work of developing an action plan in response to the findings of the report.
