Parent Resource Center Family Engagement Workshop Series
What tools and strategies can families use to address the challenges posed by raising children with and without disabilities? This course will offer information both to families and teachers to address topics including behavior, learning differences, preparing for post-secondary education and life and special education. #15152
Equity Conversations for Administrators
Equity Conversations for Administrators sessions are designed for staff who attended the August Leadership Academy. Each 90-minute session will focus on topics that prepare participants to design and support opportunities for staff, students and the community using an equity-focused lens. #14640
Crisis Intervention Training
What methods will most effectively de-escalate situations to prevent or manage a crisis? Participants will receive instruction in the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) methodology of crisis prevention that emphasizes early intervention and non-physical methods for managing disruptive behavior. Participants also receive instruction in restraint positions, transport techniques and team strategies. #14986
