October 8 is the second division-wide professional learning day of the new school year. It’s another opportunity for all ACPS instructional employees to engage in professional learning.
All instructional employees are expected to be in professional learning sessions for the entire day. There is a wide range of sessions offered with sections appropriate for preK-12 teachers across content areas as well as paraprofessionals, administrators, EL, and specialized instruction teachers. Sessions are offered in half-day increments from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. and in full-day sessions from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Please be sure to register in PLMS beforehand as sessions will fill up quickly and space is limited in several of the sessions. You can access PLMS using your employee ID number as both the username and password. View the complete list of all of the courses offered on October 8.
