Beginning July 1, UnitedHealthcare is rolling out Real Appeal, the premium step-by-step, personalized program that helps individuals lose weight and lower their risk for chronic diseases such as heart disease, Type 2 diabetes and more.
Real Appeal is a healthcare benefit through UnitedHealthcare insurance that is available to United Healthcare members. Employees and their spouses and dependents 18 and older who have ACPS UnitedHealthcare insurance and a body mass index (BMI) of 23 or higher can participate in the program at no cost.
The year-long program includes a personal transformation coach; an online portal with resources, mobile app integration, an online support group, and more; and a Real Appeal Success Kit that includes guides, fitness DVDs, a personal blender, cooking tools, a scale and more, delivered to your door. The program offers everything you need to kickstart your weight loss and help you develop healthy habits.
