Sign up today for professional development training sessions that will enhance your knowledge of cultural competency and guide you in how to use this knowledge to help Every Student Succeed.
Cultural competence is the ability to successfully teach students who come from cultures other than our own. The seamless use of competencies results in equity—the knowledge required to provide what each student needs in order to succeed.
The concept of equity is uniquely embedded in each of the ACPS 2020 Strategic Plan goals. As part of our commitment to these goals, these professional training opportunities enable our educators to learn more about cultural competency and how to integrate it into everyday teaching and learning interactions in order to ensure Every Student Succeeds.
