Interim Superintendent Lois F. Berlin has presented a fiscally responsible Combined Funds Budget that is focused on the classroom and supporting growing enrollment.

Dr. Hutchings will participate in a “meet and greet” with community members on January 20. While staff members are welcome to stop in to say hello, we will offer a similar opportunity for staff members and other groups to meet with Dr. Hutchings in the coming months.

The Alexandria City School Board has re-appointed Ramee Gentry to the position of Chair of the Board and Cindy Anderson to Vice Chair of the Board for the next year.

We made the call and you answered! Last fall, ACPS put out a call employees to help us replace 500 incandescent light bulbs with LED bulbs. Within less than two months, we received requests to replace 574 incandescent light bulbs to LEDs. Way to go!
