Alexandria City Public Schools is launching the ACPS 2020 Strategic Plan, with the mission that Every Student Succeeds. This will be our roadmap over the next five years and guide everything that we do as a school division.
We want all our ACPS staff to be a part of this. The new strategic plan only comes to life if we all take it on! Show your support for this by updating your email signature.
Adding the ACPS 2020 logo to your email signature:

- In Zimbra, click on the ‘Preferences’ tab, the tab farthest to the right, located above the search bar.
- Select ‘Signatures’ from the left hand menu.
- Across from the box that says ‘Name: Signature #1’ there is a drop down menu. Select ‘format as HTML’ from the drop down menu.
- Enter your signature text in the text box.
- Place your text cursor on an empty line at the end of your signature text, where the ACPS 2020 logo will go.
- Click the ‘Insert image via URL’ icon on top of the signature text box.
- Copy and paste this URL into the empty field and click ‘Add’: http://www.acpsk12.org/ACPSlogoZimbra.jpg
- Click Save.
- In Zimbra, click on the ‘Preferences’ tab, the tab farthest to the right, located above the search bar.
Staff will be receiving an ACPS 2020 lanyard. Schools will also get posters of the six goals to be put up in relevant areas. There is enough to post one in every classroom. We want to be able to see reminders of all the goals all over ACPS. We will be rolling the goals out with round-table events and discussions in the next few weeks.
