Congratulations to the 39 ACPS staff members who retired in 2016. The retirees were honored at a ceremony last month, during which they were celebrated for their service to our schools, our students and our community.
The retirees, whose combined total years of service equals 845 years, served terms ranging from 5 to 41 years. Of our 39 retirees, 25 of them served for more than 20 years. We are grateful for your long-term commitment and dedication.
“Thank you for your years of service and the sacrifices you have made on behalf of this school division. As a result of your contributions, we are a better school division and we are a stronger school division. Retirees, enjoy this special time. Fill in the spaces with things that give you joy. And, remember, once a member of the ACPS family, you are always a part of the ACPS family,” said Superintendent Alvin Crawley.
