ACPS has begun the search for the new principal of T.C. Williams High School. The position was posted with multiple agencies and newspapers across the United States this week.
The new principal will need to be able to live up to the prestigious history of T.C. Williams, memorialized in the Disney Movie, “Remember the Titans,” (2000). They will also lead several key programs within the school, including the International Academy. With almost 4,000 students across the Minnie Howard and King Street campuses, T.C. Williams is the largest high school in Northern Virginia.
As we undertake this process, ACPS wants to hear from you.
Staff, parents, students, administrators and the wider community are being asked to participate in an online survey, which can be completed in English, Arabic, or Spanish. The survey will be open through Sunday, January 8. Please take the survey today.
Also, face-to-face meetings with representatives from the recruitment agency will be held during the day and evening on January 4 to provide feedback on desired characteristics and qualities in the new T.C.
