ACPS Staff Intent-to-Return Process

As a reminder, the Intent-to-Return Survey closes at 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 31, 2022. Through this process, contract employees are asked to inform Human Resources (HR) of their intent to separate at the conclusion of this school year or desire to return to ACPS for the 2022-23 school year.

Responses are shared with school principals upon receipt for future staffing needs. Note that a position does not become vacant until a formal resignation has been received and a termination letter or termination form has been provided to the HR department. Licensed staff may resign without prejudice until June 15. All contract employees should complete the intent survey even if you have already discussed your employment status with your principal or administrator.
