ACPS Staff Intent to Return Process

To ensure ACPS can identify vacancies early and plan for the staffing season most effectively, contract employees are asked to inform Human Resources (HR) of their intent to separate at the conclusion of this school year or we hope your desire to return to ACPS for the 2022-23 school year.

Staff will receive an email on Mon., Jan. 24, 2022, from HR, which will include the Intent to Return Survey link. Please ensure you complete and submit the survey by the final submission deadline of 5 p.m. on Mon., Jan. 31, 2022.

Responses are shared with school principals upon receipt to plan for future staffing needs. Note that a position does not become vacant until a formal resignation has been received and a termination letter or termination form has been provided to the HR department. Licensed staff may resign without prejudice until June 15, 2022. All contract employees should complete the intent survey even if you have already discussed your employment status with your principal or administrator.
