Madeline Waldhoff has advanced as a finalist in the National Merit Program. Last fall, Madeline advanced as a semi-finalist, representing less than one percent of all high school seniors in the United States. Watch the video to find out how she did it.
Students enter the competition for scholarships and recognition when they take the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). The test serves as an initial screen of approximately 1.6 million entrants each year.
National Merit Scholarship winners will be announced later this month.
