ACPS is launching its 2020 Strategic Plan, ‘Every Student Succeeds’, with an upbeat celebration set to be the biggest event of the school year.
The event on November 6 will be a completely free family celebration of our goals for the next five years with live circus performances, live jazz, music and dancing. The event will offer face painting, clowns, multiple upbeat acts and a large balloon drop. There will also be a chat café where the Superintendent will give a brief, entertaining overview of the six goals and lead a discussion while guests enjoy free pizza, hot chocolate and popcorn.
Come and join us to celebrate our goals for #EveryStudent over the next five years at Jefferson-Houston School from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Transportation to and from the event will be available from the west end and Glebe Road areas of the city. Buses will also be available from the parking lot at George Washington Middle School all evening.
ACPS 2020 is the roadmap for ACPS for the next five years. It sets out goals for academics, health and wellness, community engagement, accountability, quality learning facilities, and retaining and attracting great staff.
