Principal Jesse Dingle Announces Plans to Leave T.C. Williams at the End of School Year

We want to let you know that this year will be Dr. Jesse Dingle’s last year as principal at T.C. Williams High School. Dr. Dingle has determined that, after much consideration, he needs to be closer to his family in North Carolina.

Throughout the remainder of the school year, Dr. Dingle will continue to maximize opportunities for student learning and enrichment. As we initiate the search for a new principal, there will be opportunities for parents, students, staff, and the community to participate in the process. ACPS will be reaching out to the community in early December to collect input as we craft a list of desired qualities in candidates that will be used to help us select the candidate who is the best fit for T.C. Williams.

We would like to thank Dr. Dingle for his service to ACPS and wish him and his family all the best.

Yours,

CrawleyAlvin

A letter from Dr. Jesse Dingle

Dear T.C. Williams High School Parents and Guardians,

It is with mixed emotions that I announce today that I will be leaving T.C. Williams High School at the end of the school year.

Sometimes life takes us in a direction that is different from what we planned. After lengthy consideration with my family, we have decided to move closer to extended family in North Carolina. At this point in my life, I have realized how important it is for me to be closer to the people who need me the most.

Over the next eight months, I will continue to give T.C. Williams my best and will do everything I can to ensure a smooth transition for the incoming principal.

I have really loved being at T.C. My life will be richer for the relationships and friendships that I have made during my tenure. I will forever be a Titan at heart.

Sincerely,

Jesse Dingle
