ACPS would like to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported us during the budget process this year.
On Thursday, May 5, Alexandria City Council passed the budget for FY 2017, which included generous support for our growing schools and funding for the new centralized pre-K program.
So many ACPS families, partners, staff and community members showed their support for fully funding the schools at the City Council Public Hearings in March and April.
We deeply appreciate your support and participation in the #TellCouncil campaign. Thank you for coming out and speaking on our behalf. We truly believe your voice made a difference.
