Students Revel in the Big Reveal of the New Admiral Café

Francis C. Hammond Middle School students pounded the pavement in anticipation of the big reveal, chanting “Move that bus! Move that bus!” — the only thing standing between them and the newly renovated Admiral Café. Once three students cut the ceremonial ribbon, dozens and dozens more poured in to explore what was once an old fashioned cafeteria and is now a sophisticated food service and dining experience.

The new cafeteria is amazing! It is so pretty! Come to Francis C. Hammond Middle School and get your cafeteria on!” exclaimed a Hammond student.

George Washington Middle School students and staff: your cafeteria renovation is in its final stages after correcting course due to a number of construction surprises. The renovated kitchen, food service and dining room will reopen as the Cherry Blossom Café in mid-November!
