“It’s Academic” TV Program Features ACHS Students

Parent-Teacher Conferences: Schedule Reminder and Tips
ACPS conducts parent-teacher conferences twice each calendar school year to provide opportunities for parents and teachers to discuss students’ social, emotional, and academic progress. Schools following the traditional academic calendar will hold Winter 2022 Parent-Teacher Conferences on Feb. 2-3.

Caitlin Feehely, a junior at Alexandria City High School, and Ashly Isabel Luna Jimenez, a kindergarten student from William Ramsay Elementary School, have been selected as the 2021 Red Ribbon Week Poster Contest ACPS elementary and high school winners.
School Board Meeting Summary
As part of its meeting on Thurs., Jan. 20, the School Board hosted a public hearing on the Combined Funds Fiscal Year 2023 budget. Following the meeting, the Board transitioned to a Work Session on the FY 2023 budget.

The School Board will host a public hearing on the Combined Funds Fiscal Year 2023 budget on Thurs., Jan. 20, at its Board meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m., before transitioning to a Work Session on the FY 2023 budget at 7 p.m.
