Francis C. Hammond Middle School became the first secondary school in Alexandria City Public Schools to offer the Breakfast in the Classroom program aimed at breaking down the social divide between students who have and those who do not.
School PTAs, community members and groups across Alexandria City Public Schools participated in Spring2ACTion on Wednesday, April 20. The result: more than $953,000 to upgrade technology, fund field trips and special programs, build library resources and renovate classrooms and playgrounds. Here is a snapshot of the results.
