Charles Barrett Students Raise More Than $10,300 to Help Schools in Need
Charles Barrett Elementary School’s Adopt-a-Gym program has raised more than $10,300 to endow schools in need with equipment to run P.E. programs that help students develop lifelong healthy fitness habits. They were so successful that they were able to donate more than $1,000 of that sum to Alexandria’s Carpenter’s Shelter.
Jefferson-Houston Now an International Baccalaureate (I.B.) Middle Years Programme School
Jefferson-Houston School is now an authorized International Baccalaureate (I.B.) World School for the five-year Middle Years Programme (MYP). It became an authorized Primary Years Programme (PYP) school in 2015.
