Update for Families on the Implementation of New School Boundaries
In January 2017, the School Board approved the implementation of new elementary school boundaries generated through a year-long redistricting process. The new school boundaries will go into effect in September 2018. ACPS is in the process of implementing redistricting and will be contacting those families impacted by the process directly in the next couple of weeks.
City Council Endorses Conversion of Vacant Office Space into Alexandria’s Newest School
The City Council voted unanimously to approve the change in use of a vacant office building on the West End into a new school at the hearing on Saturday.
