Troubleshooting Google Drive in Canvas

Tier 1: Clear Browser Cache

If this does not fix the problem, follow the steps in Tier 2 below.

Tier 2: Disable “block third-party cookies”

Google Drive authorization issues may be related to your Chrome account preferences.  One of the first things to try is to ensure that Chrome is not set to “block third-party cookies.”

  1. Launch Chrome. At the top right, click More (the three vertical dots Troubleshooting Google Drive Screenshot ) >  Settings.
  2. At the bottom, click Advanced.
  3. Under “Privacy and security,” click Content settings.
  4. Click Cookies.
  5. Disable Block third-party cookies.
